How It Works
E-bikes available at the resort have pedal-assist motors that provide power when you pedal, reducing the effort required on hills and longer rides. Riders still pedal - the bike assists rather than replaces your effort. A brief orientation covers controls and assist levels. Helmets are provided. Riders explore on their own using a suggested route from resort staff or a printed trail map. The most popular destination for resort e-bike riders is the valley bike path and, with more time, the Truckee River Recreational Trail.
What To Bring vs. Rent
E-bikes and helmets are provided. Bring: comfortable athletic clothing (not loose-leg pants that can catch in the chain), athletic shoes, a small backpack for water and snacks, and a fully charged phone for navigation.
