How It Works
Broomball is played on an ice surface in teams, similar in concept to hockey but using brooms and a rubber ball instead of sticks and a puck. Players wear regular shoes (not skates) and the low-traction ice surface adds a fun physical challenge. Teams typically consist of 6 players per side. Equipment is provided. No experience or skills required - the game is accessible to complete beginners and is more about fun than competition. [OWNER TO FILL IN: confirm whether broomball is available to book for private groups or is open scheduled sessions, and who to contact]
What To Bring vs. Rent
Equipment (brooms, ball) is provided. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes with rubber soles. Dress warmly in layers - you will be active on an ice surface. Gloves are recommended. Athletic sneakers work well; avoid hard-soled dress shoes.
