Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are available directly from Everline Resort and at the Tahoe City Nordic Center, approximately 20 minutes south. Guided snowshoe tours and a popular stargazing tour depart from the resort itself, while the Nordic Center offers 65+ kilometers of groomed trails for skate and classic skiing.

Snowshoeing from Everline
Snowshoe rentals and access to ungroomed terrain directly adjacent to the resort are available through the resort activity desk. The valley floor and lower mountain slopes provide good snowshoeing terrain when snowpack is sufficient.
The Everline concierge can suggest routes appropriate for your group's fitness level and the current conditions. No formal trail system exists directly on resort property - snowshoers follow natural terrain with guidance from resort staff.

Tahoe City Nordic Center
The Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area (Tahoe City Nordic Center) is the premier groomed Nordic facility near Olympic Valley. Located in Tahoe City about 20 minutes south of Everline, the center maintains over 65 kilometers of groomed trails for both skate and classic skiing.
Day passes, equipment rentals, and lessons are all available on site. The center is family-friendly and an excellent choice for guests who want a different mountain experience from the alpine terrain at Palisades Tahoe.

Guided Tours
Guided Snowshoe Tours
Guided snowshoe tours are offered through the resort activities program. Tours typically last 2-3 hours and are led by a guide familiar with the Olympic Valley terrain. Snowshoes and poles are provided. Routes are adjusted based on group ability and conditions. Book through the Everline concierge.
Stargazing Snowshoe Tours
The guided snowshoe stargazing tour is one of the most popular evening activities at Everline. Small groups snowshoe up the mountain in the dark to stargaze from above the valley light wash. Olympic Valley's elevation and clean air make for exceptional night sky viewing. Tours last about 2 hours. Book early - spots fill fast on peak weekends.

Nordic Gear at Tahoe City
The Tahoe City Nordic Center rents skate skis, classic skis, poles, and boots on site. Easiest option for a full Nordic day at the center.
Bring Your Own
If you own snowshoes or Nordic skis, bring them - the drive to Tahoe City is short and parking at the Nordic Center is straightforward.
