How It Works
The rink is located in the Village at Palisades Tahoe outdoor plaza. Purchase your session and skate rental at the rink entrance. Locker storage for boots and bags is available near the rink. The rink surface is maintained and Zamboni-resurfaced on a regular schedule - conditions are typically good. The Village plaza is lit in the evenings and the rink is popular for nighttime skating with ambient lights.
What To Bring vs. Rent
Rental skates (hockey and figure styles) are available at the rink in a range of sizes for adults and children. Thick socks are recommended for comfort in rental boots. Bring warm outerwear - the rink is outdoors and temperatures drop in the evening. Helmets are not required but are recommended for young children.
