Best Time To Visit
Month-by-month guide to crowd levels, weather, pricing, and activities
The best time to visit Everline Resort depends on what you want to do. For skiing, January and February offer the deepest snowpack and best conditions. For summer activities, July and August are ideal. For value and shoulder-season quiet, early December and late September are the sweet spots.

MONTH BY MONTH
Season-by-Season Guide
January - March
Peak WinterThe core winter season runs January through March. January and February typically have the best snowpack and the widest variety of terrain open at Palisades Tahoe. Crowds peak over MLK weekend (mid-January) and Presidents' Day weekend (mid-February). Target mid-week or non-holiday weekends for the best combination of conditions and manageable crowds.
April - May
Spring ShoulderApril is variable. In good snow years, skiing continues through April with soft spring conditions - corn snow, sunny weather, and significantly lighter crowds. The summer facilities are not yet open. Among the least-crowded times to visit if late-season skiing or solitude are the goal.
June - September
SummerJune is the transition month - ski lifts have closed but the pool and golf may not be fully operational until late June. July and August are the heart of summer: pool, golf, hiking, and Lake Tahoe day trips all in full swing. September is excellent - summer conditions continue, crowds thin after Labor Day, rates often drop, and the resort pool is typically still open.
October - November
Fall ShoulderThe quietest months at the resort. Summer facilities are closed, ski season has not yet opened. Fall foliage in the Sierra Nevada is not as dramatic as the Northeast, but the valley and forest show color. Best time to visit for solitude and value - trails have nobody on them and rates are at their lowest.
